What Does The Visual Art Department Represent?

To create the pathway to my final idea and what I am intending to design for the fountain I need to get an idea of what people think about the space that I am using and what they think about the art department and gather a list of words to describe it.

To get these words, as a class and in the Aid and Abet talk we came up with some ideas and words. Here is a few I thought were important to include:

• PATHWAYS
• EXPRESSION
• LEARNING
• REFINING
• SUPPORT

Each word above has its own meaning and understanding. I looked at these words from the class deeply so that I could take a step back and look at what the whole space means to people. The thing I took away from this was how people see the art department in different ways and most of it is opinion, however I thought that to make the fountain successful i needed to base it on facts, that's why I chose my word to be DEVELOPING, as I believe that everyone in our class develops in there artwork and life in general.
